Greg Davies is the talented chunk of Shropshire ham - because he comes from Wem which is in Shropshire, and he likes ham - and he is also my favourite comedian by 260 miles (because that’s how far away Wem is). At 2.3m tall, he towers over us all and quite rightly so – he is a beast in the comedy industry. The only reason I know him is because of the hilarious TV show Taskmaster, in which I watch him humiliate his co-host Alex Horne. Oh, and I also enjoy watching comedians do bizarre tasks before the Lord himself mocks... sorry, judges them, for their performance. I thoroughly enjoy his good sense of humour, rather creepy facial expressions and I admit that I quite often overdose on his repeated use of strong language (well, I guess that’s the job of a comedian). In fact, during this year’s summer holidays I watched every single episode of Taskmaster TWICE, mainly because I was chuckling so hard I didn’t have any control over the remote, so they were basically just auto played. I know what you’re thinking - 50+ hours of my life wasted. Personally, I think they were well spent. Tune into Taskmaster or watch his current work Man Down and I’ll let you decide for yourself.
